Meter
See where the money went — without a spreadsheet. Categories, a monthly cap, and tabular figures that stay still while you scroll.
See how we buildCoda Tempo designs small tools and releases them fully formed — not as side projects, not as services. Four apps. Each one meant to be finished.
| Merchant | Category | Amount |
|---|---|---|
| Blue Bottle | Cafés | $6.40 |
| Transit pass | Travel | $84.00 |
| Fig bookstore | Books | $22.50 |
| Studio rent | Home | $1,240.00 |
| Market greens | Groceries | $47.18 |
The studio ships when the product is small enough to hold in one sitting.
Draft is a writing app that cares about the last paragraph, not the archive. One document. A quiet word count. No folders until you need them.
Finish the piece, then file it.
We don’t pitch retainers. We design, build, and publish tools people can download and use. Dummy lineup — placeholders you can replace with live store listings.

See how we buildA writing app that cares about the last paragraph, not the archive. One sitting, one document, a word count that doesn’t nag.
See how we buildHabits that stay quiet until they matter. Streaks without badges, noise, or a feed competing for the morning.
See how we buildA calendar that protects the hours you actually work. Focus blocks first; meetings fill the gaps, not the other way around.
See how we buildEvery explanation sits next to the interface it describes. If it isn’t in the app, it doesn’t belong on the page.
We cut scope until the app has a single job. Meter tracks spend. Draft finishes pages. North keeps streaks. Shift defends focus. No suites, no settings graveyards.
// Monthly cap, tabular display
struct LedgerLine {
let merchant: String
let amount: Decimal
}
func remaining(cap: Decimal, spent: Decimal) -> Decimal {
cap - spent
}
remaining(cap: 1600, spent: 1400.08)
North records whether you did the thing. That’s the whole interface: a name, seven marks, a weekly count. Motivation stays off-screen.
Shift draws focus blocks first in navy, then lets the rest of the week negotiate around them. The calendar is a product of what you protect, not what you accept.
A warm pause in the indigo-and-white rhythm. The studio treats support as part of the product, not a mailbox we ignore after launch.
One job, named in a sentence. If we can’t say it, we don’t start.
Interface first. Numbers use tabular figures. Copy stays thin.
A store listing, a privacy page, an email that a person reads.
Fixes ship. Features wait. The app stays small on purpose.
Session counts, spend, and words written sit in the same chrome. Dummy data — the layout is the argument.

Coda Tempo publishes apps as finished products. This page is a working privacy notice for the marketing site and for dummy store listings.
The site itself does not set analytics cookies and does not store form submissions on a server. If you use the contact form, your name, email, and message are passed to your own mail client and sent to codatempoo@gmail.com.
When live apps are listed, each product will describe the data it collects, why, and how to request deletion. Until then, questions go to the same address.
